In The Media: The Future of Scotland's Moors

This month we have been featured in an article by National Geographic exploring the future of Scottish moorland including debates over management, ownership and conservation.

The UK has 75% of the worlds heather moorland, most of which is found in Scotland including the drier heath areas as well as the wetter landscapes of blanket bogs.

The article includes a short video showing the work that is currently under way here in the Flow Country to restore the blanket bogs and protect the wild peatland landscapes of Caithness and Sutherland.
